AquaGlobe has developed a new servo spray valve for troughs and bowls made in all stainless steel. The servo feature of the spray valve is completely unique. It is extremely easy to open. With just a slight touch on the button the animal can release a water flow of 6 l/min. Without the servo function it would normally be much harder for the animal to open.
With this new valve, there is no need for a lever to help the animal operate a high flow. Fewer moving parts also makes the operation more reliable.
AquaGlobe has developed a new drinking bowl for calves and sows made in all stainless steel. The bowl has a unique valve with servo design. The servo valve is extremely easy to open.
With this new valve, there is no need for a lever to help the animal operate a high flow. With just a slight touch the animal can release a very high flow of water.
Without a lever the bowl is more hygienic. All surfaces are accessible to the animal which results in less bacteria. Fewer moving parts also makes the operation more reliable.
AquaGlobe has developed an automatic orifice for some of its watering valves. The orifice adjusts itself automatically to the water pressure. If the pressure is high, the AFC orifice reduces the orifice size and if the pressure is low it increases the orifice size. This will result in the same water flow for different pressures. It will also result in lower water spillage because the water flow will not be too high.
The AFC orifice is available as an option in AquaGlobe watering valves. The AFC orifice works best in the pressure range 1-6 bar (15-90 psi). With long water lines the pressure is too high in the beginning of the line and too low in the end of the line. If many animals drink at the same time the pressure in the end of the pipe will be even lower. All stables have different pressures depending on pump and long/short water lines. The AquaGlobe Automatic Flow Control adjusts for all those different pressures and give all the animals the same amount of water. And the best of all, it is automatic!
AquaGlobe has developed new drinking guide for watering valves. A common problem with all watering valves is that the animals bite the valves from the side. When the animals bite the valve from the side it creates unnecessary water spillage. The AquaGlobe drinking guide forces the animals to drink right in front of the valves and therefore reduces water spillage. The guide can be fitted in existing installations or added to completely new installations. All parts are made from high grade stainless steel and the pipe threads are the common 1/2” size.
AquaGlobe has developed a new adjustable wall bracket. With the bracket the height of the valve can be adjusted to the height of the animal as it grows. It is very important to have the right height to avoid unnecessary water spillage. If the valve is placed too high or too low it is hard for the animals to grasp the valve in a natural way. The bracket has a hex screw that can be loosened to allow adjusting. All parts are made from high grade stainless steel and the pipe threads are the common 1/2” size.
AquaGlobe has developed a new drinking cup for piglets. The cup is designed to fit even the smallest piglets with a unique piglet valve and a shallow cup. The piglet valve has a small spindle and the spring is soft for the piglets. Very little force is needed for the smallest piglets to open the valve and release the water. The shallow cup is hygienic. The accessible water surface attracts the piglets to the cup faster.
It is very important for the nursery piglets to locate and start to drink water at an early stage. For this purpose, AquaGlobe has developed a piglet trainer set. The valve has a screw that can be set to drip. The dripping attracts the curious animals to locate the water source. The dripping is collected on a small plate were the piglets can drink the water from an open water surface. The plate has a drainage that can be connected. When the animals know where the water is, the dripping can be turned off.
